I've filled up the initial 4GB of an expanding virtual disk and all processes now just report 'not enough space' or 'disk full'. When will the disk expand and is there a way to force it to do so?

4Gb is final size of disk. Expanding mean - the file which contains the disk is not a 4Gb size when it created, it start from few kilobytes and grow to 4Gb. But 4Gb is maximum size of disk.

Ok - that wasn't clear to me from the docs.

The docs mention a Virtual Disk tool. How can that be accessed to create/modify existing vdd's ?

This tool is unavailable for Mac OS now. You can copy your disk to linux/window and use ImageTool utility for do this.

while useful I'm sure, in this case, it's a problem considering that I'm use Parallels because I lack a Windows part to do this with :)

    I'll figure something out :)

Yes, I agree. Right or wrong, my impression was that the size I was picking would be the base size of the disk, not the Max size.

Not complaining. Just suggesting a wording change for the next revision. :)
