I've installed the new parallels 4. which I had to install a fresh copy as my parallels 3 was corrupted by an archive and insall- the windows lost a file, and I didn't know how to find and reiinstall it, so now, with a new installation, I have two virtual machines listed, windows xp, and my boot camp. My boot camp is useless but the windows xp seems to work fine and I've downloaded all the updates from microsoft, xp service packs and security updates etc, but the problem is the thing opens with the picture of the windows desktop and then it becomes that think strip about a half in wide with the start button at the left but I can't get the whole screen to open...... I'm a simple end user in these matters so don't chuckle if this is mere simpletons naivete' but how the heck do I get this to show an entire screen of the windows screen. I've got the dock at the bottom of my screen, then above that is the windows start menu line but no screeen above. I can go to start to open apps and such but how do I get the windows screen to be a full picture of the windows os? Thank You Mark
It was just that I had to go to the parallels file menu and for some reason it was defaulted to hide desktop.... I hit show desktop and there it was. Mark
