I seem to be having the opposite issue from most other people here. I installed Windows 7 using boot camp and then created a parallels VM from that boot camp partition. While everything worked fine at first, now I cannot boot directly into Windows from Boot Camp. When I click the option key upon startup, I get the OS picker, but when I click Windows, it goes into a two second black screen with a blinking underscore, then restarts. I've tried setting the BC volume as the boot disk, but to no avail. That just makes Win7 do an infinite boot loop. I can start Win7 via Parallels with no problem. It's just booting directly into win7 that appears to be affected. This is a 27" imac with the Core i7 processor, running Parallels 5 and Boot Camp 3.1. Thanks, Garth
