A WORD OF WARNING: It has been determined that the Parallels Host-Guest Virtual NIC causes problems with LAN games. For instance, under C&C Generals Zero Hour, it made my system appear invisible, and caused those machines that connected directly (via TCP/IP Address) to encounter an error condition that triggered their serial number (already used) error! After disabling the Parallels Host-Guest Virtual NIC, LAN gaming went along perfectly. I'm not sure exactly how to circumvent this issue, but it is currently under study at Moody Labs. Problem: Parallels Host-Guest Virtual NIC causes connectivity issues between the host machine and other (remote) players. Resolution: Right-click on the Parallels Host-Guest Virtual NIC and Click "Disable", stopping it from interfering with your current network setup. Note: Don't forget to Right-Click on the Parallels Host-Guest Virtual NIC and re-"Enable" it after you're through gaming. Otherwise the guest OS won't be able to connect to the 'net...
