There appears to be a VTx problem with build 3188 and Windows XP that leads to frequent exploer crashes. It's especially a problem with Mac Pro, but also happens on my MacBook Pro. Any solution apart from turning it off?
You can turn off Intel VTx support in the settings for the VM. Configuration | Advanced, uncheck Enable Intel VT-x support. What's happening? I am experiencing no crashes and doubt there's a flaw in VTx that could cause this. Did you find a technote or something from Intel? If so, please post it. I am curious.
