Howdy all, I am hoping someone can shed some light on a very strange problem I have run into. At work we use Juniper Network's NetScreen-Remote (10.7.2). I put the VPN program on my XP image which was originally on my Mac laptop and everything worked fine. When I finally got a new desktop computer I copied the same image to the desktop computer and oddly enough, everything works EXCEPT for the VPN.http://forum.parallels.com/images/smilies/confused.gif From what I can tell by watching the logs, it connects to the host server just fine but when it goes to actually start getting data, it hangs and nothing comes through. It thought it might be related to running the laptop over airport but when I plugged it in and turned off the airport, it worked fine. I wonder why VPN works on one computer but not the other? Are XP images linked to computers? VPN looking at the MAC address? Info: MacBookPro - works fine Mac Pro - everything works except for the VPN. Tried shared and direct, no luck No firewalls Settings appear to be the same on all computers. The image that is being used on both of the computers is the same with the same settings. I would really like to be able to have Outlook running on my desktop while I work in the Mac OS. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
By the way, the same is true whether I am using Parallels 2.5 or 3.0. I was hoping Parallels 3.0 was going to make the problem go away.
