I have 2 XP VM's now that can both use my wireless network at home, but not at work. They won't obtain an IP Address at work - but they will just fine at home. My MAC get's an IP and works on wireless in either location. Any ideas?
I figured this out on my own. The trick was to disable IEEE 802.1x auuthentication on the XP IP stack. Which seemd to bother some VM's more than others on some networks more than others. -Josh
Well that fixed it once. But since I went home and came back to work I can not get this VM to reconnect to the wireless network again. I didn't change any settings, just rebooted the VM. Does anyone have any ideas - or is this a known bug? TIA! -Josh
