Right now I'd like to have my Windows accessible either via Parallels or via Boot Camp. But with my Upgrade version of XP Pro, I was not able to install it except via Parallels.

I expect that will change with Leopard.

What would be nice is if Parallels had a utility to make it easy to migrate my current Windows VM from Parallels only to Parallels/Boot-Camp.

I'd like to see this, too. If Parallels can read a Bootcamp installation, why not go in reverse.

The current installation of Windows I'm running is converted from a VirtualPC XP install that I upgraded to Vista after I converted it to Parallels. Now I'd like to use it in Bootcamp. I guess I could reinstall, but this particular installation has about five years on it and I'd rather not start from scratch.

C'mon, Parallels engineers! You've done everything else. How hard could this be?

As an alternative, does anyone know if something like Norton Ghost would work for copying my current Parallels virtual machine over to a Bootcamp partition?

Can we open two Parallels VMs at once? If so, can we drag stuff from one to the other?

It won't be enough - not the way Windows works. But copying everything to an OLD subdirectory would help some.

I would like to go the other way: convert a Bootcamp partition to a VM image.

I believe you can all ready do that, though it would be a multiple step process.
