Can someone see if this is reproducible on your machine? I boot up Windows XP and then switch to full screen mode. The screen rotates and I get to work in my VM. Later, I switch back to small screen mode, the cube effect 'takes me back'. While there, I pull the VM down to the near bottom of my screen (it's resolution is 1440x900, so it is very big to take up the full space of the 17" iMac LCD) so that I can see my desktop and other windows. When I hit the full screen mode while the VM is in this position, it rotates back, but the screen is blank (only blackness). It is as if the VM is confused about its position because I had pulled it to the lower half of my monitor before invoking the full creen mode. The only way out was to hit ESCAPE and /or COMMAND-Q, I eventually get back to the Mac desktop, but this is not a nice way to exit XP, virtually by pulling the plug on it.
