As I was configuring my VM boot options, I inadvertently checked BOTH flags "Start VM automatically when it is opened" AND "Exit application on VM shutdown"

My problem is this: Now I can't get back to the VM Configuration Editor to turn off those flags.

When I load Parallels, it auto-launches my VM (as I told it to). But, with my VM running, I can't use the VM Configuration Editor. So, I have to stop my VM to use the editor...but when I stop the VM, it auto-closes the Parallels application (again, as I told it to) before I can do anything.

Although the user manual shows a workaround, I can't seem to get Parallels to open into a VM Catalog to allow me to override the auto-launch by holding down the CMD key. It just opens up my WinXP every time I launch the application.

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

17" MBP, Core2Duo, running OSX10.4.9 and VM of WinXP Professional SP2

Edit the .pvs file with Textedit.

Also you can perform the following:

Start Parallels - press and hold apple-command key - Vm will not autostart.
