"VM cannot be opened"

    "VM cannot be opened since it is already used in another Parallels Desktop window."

    This just started happening. I can open other VMs without issue.

    Can anyone offer a solution to this problem? Thanks!

    PD Beta 3036, OS X 10.4.8 - Macbook Pro

    You have to delete the lock file. This issue has been discussed to death on this forum. Do a search on ".lock" for detailed directions.

    Thanks joem!

    It would be nice if the error message actually mentioned the ".lock" file. How would I have even known to search for ".lock" in the forums?
