Suggestion: Several folks have had problems when they have set a VM to start on Parallels launch and also set Parallels to quit when the VM stops, and then need to change a VM setting. Perhaps there could be a means of starting Parallels that disables those two features for that instance. I'd suggest that holding down shift or option (pick one) when launching Parallels disable those two features for that instance until it quits. This should cut way down on the support required to get people out of this box.
