    Hi all,

I'm running windows vista ultimate on my dell m1530 laptop. I installed XP PRO without a problem, but have no network - i am unable to select bridged, only host networking. In the lower right of my VM window border, I just see:

    Device:
    Mode: Host Only Networking
    Name: Virtual Network Adaptor
    Status: Disconnected

Network Connections in the VM show network cable unplugged.

Seems as if the VM doesnt see my nic?

Running build 2222 of workstation. Any suggestions, or more info you need?

    Thanks,
    Adam

    Hello Adam,

Could you let me know your network adapter name in Device Manager? To open Device Manager go to Control Panel -> System -> Hardware.

Please disable your antivirus software and Firewall for some time.

Could you also check Parallels DHCP server status in Computer Management window? (Right click My Computer -> Manage -> Services and Applications -> Services).

    Best regards,
    Xenos
