What versions of Vista will install in Parallels 3188 on MacBook Pro 2GHz with 3GB RAM?

I have bought an OEM copy of Ultimate and it doesn't want to install.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Cheers

I've got the Business edition on mine on a 2GHz MacBook Pro, 2GB RAM and it works just fine. I end up using it a couple of times a day for some internal company apps that won't work with Safari or if I need Project or Visio.

Sorry, I forgot to add that Vista is 64-bit. Will that work at all / ever?

No. 64-bit will not work at present. Parallels is only a 32-bit application, so it only virtualizes a 32-bit processor.

That also means that if you install a 64-bit version of Vista on Boot Camp (which is hard enough, considering Apple only provides 32-bit drivers,) you will *NOT* be able to use Parallels' Boot Camp option, even when they add it for Vista. (Much as you presently cannot for XP 64-bit, while you can for XP 32-bit.)

I can confirm that Ultimate 32-bit Retail works just fine, though.
