Wondering if it's possible to configure Vista to start Parallels automatically (other than using startup) upon boot-up and when the VM is shut down, Vista will shut down too. I'm setting up Vista as the host O/S with XP as the VM for a client and trying to make it seamless so that they simply see XP and XP only despite any VISTA gui during bootup (which is not something I can control) Thanks!
hi, can't to say nothing about current Parallels workstation version but in Parallels server product you'll be able to do that because server version will provide public API which let you to start necessary VM, catch signal that it shutdown and do necessary actions by shutdowning your host Vista system. So you'll be able to write simple application (even on scripting language - Python for example) that will do all that.
