I have had to install Vista twice now in Bootcamp partition because it has hung on me several times when using Vista with Parallels Desktop. Vista will run fine sometimes but other times when I quit Vista the Vista spinning wheel spins forever as it says it's shutting down, but after a long time (over five minutes) it's obvious that it's hung and I have to force quit out of Parallels. Next time I try to start Vista I have to start in safe mode to repair damages from a bad quit. After a few times this happens safe start doesn't work either and I have to completely reinstall Vista-- a real pain and very disappointing-- I thought Parallels Desktop was a stable product but I'm not sure now. Also when I start Vista I get a message after it's loaded saying-- [C] MY BOOT CAMP Timed out waiting for the file system to initialize. The volume has been ejected. You can use the init-timeout mount option to wait longer. Not sure why this happens???

Has anyone else had these experiences and if so what corrective action seems to work. I am using a new aluminum IMac 20 with OSX 10.5 and Vista Business edition. 32 GB partition for Bootcamp Vista. Parallels Desktop upgraded to the latest build. 1 GB set for Vista (3 GB installed on the Mac).
