    Hi,
I've been searching the forums and support pages and can't find any info on what should be a fairly easy thing to do. I have some 32 bit apps that won't run on Mojave, so before I upgrade I'd like to take my existing Mac and turn it into a VM so I can continue to use those apps.

Is there a simple way to do this?

    Thanks!

Hi ChrisR13 , are you trying to migrate an existing mac to a virtual machine?

Yes, I'm trying to migrate an existing Mac to a VM. Still don't see an easy way to make it happen.

I've created a new OS X 10.13 vm, and gotten it connected to the network. While logged in I can access my Time Machine backup on a NAS, but running Migration Assistant logs me out and then the vm never comes up with that NAS share as a backup source.

Hi @ChrisR13 , migration using Parallels Desktop for mac can be done only from Windows machines as of now. However you share your suggestions here .
