Virtual machine on external hard drive

    I need more room onto my Solid State Hard Drive in MacBook Air.

    I need to know if I can simply copy my Windows 7.pvm file to an external hard drive and launching it from that position.

    if your hard drive connection is fast enough you can. USB will be terrible slow though (cause of the low USB bandwith). Consider a Thunderbolt drive to have a fast as hell experience.
