Virtual Machine flagged as clone by copy protection

I installed he trial version of Parallels desktop to see if it would work for my specific needs. I would need it to run a fairly obscure app that uses Thales Sentinel for copy protection.

The problem is that Sentinel refuses to let me run the app as it seems to think the virtual machine inside Parallels is a clone.

When installing Parallels, I was offered to also install Windows 11 which I did. Could it be that this version of Windows, or rather, the virtual machine that you install out of the box, is a clone?
