Hey guys, I haven't found anyone with a problem like this so I'm making a new thread.

I'm having a problem with the Parallels tools video driver (I'm booting from a Boot Camp partition). Before I get into the details, my Windows install is clean- installed yesterday, and no programs installed but Parallels tools (not the one for Beta 1)). Every time I load Windows with Parallels, I get the message saying not to do anything because Parallels Tools setup is in process- is that normal? Regardless, after that message, windows starts to load, then stops, saying that it "one of its disks needs to be checked for consistency" and it wants to scan the drives (it does mention the fact that my format is FAT32 if that matters). If I let it, it detects what I am assuming is the Parallels video driver and changes it into a "file", which then royally buggers up all sorts of functions in the Parallels boot. At the moment, my install works perfectly as long as I prevent it from messing with the video driver, but I'm sure this can't be normal and am wondering what is going on. I have downloaded 3106 multiple times and also reinstalled Tools multiple times and that hasn't changed anything. This isn't urgent- it's working! At last!- but is definately annoying, and any insight would be appreciated.

OK, this appears to have fixed itself. I let it scan the drive, it 'fixed' a few things but left the video card driver alone this time, and no longer wants to scan. I really don't have a clue what changed, but something did. Now it works wonderfully! I'm not going to question it; thank you for the awsome program, Parallels.
