hello everyone, my first time here so greetz to all i have the following problems ... i installed a windows 2000 prof. VM under Parallels and updated it to SP4 + Rollup 1, then i restarted the system. after the restart i noticed that the vga card was not recognized by the system, i tried to install the orginal nvidia forceware 97.31 but with no success. now its a hook with 640x480 and 16 colors ... any solutions how u can use the vga card features in the VM with windows 2000 - like higher resolutions and colors ? or either how can i install the vga card ... should i or bug ? specs: mac os 10.2 1500 mb ram gf 7300 gs. thx in advance best regards, marcelm
install the Parallels tools in win2k. It installs the correct driver for the virtual machine. remember, parallels is emulating a video card, so you dont install the drivers for the actual card you have in the machine.
