version.dll corruption

    Parallels 3214 and XP SP2

    My version of Windows in Parallels has a corrupted version.dll file. XP starts to load, blue screen and then reboots. Is there a way I can force a chkdsk or a way I can get into XP or have Parallels force a chkdsk?
