If I want to check for new updates in v4 through Help/checking for updates, Parallels tells me that there is no internet connection.

I have not had any problems with my internet connection - neither from the VM inside nor from Mac OS. Everything in respect to internet seems to work normal. There is also no firewall or anything else running.

    How can I resolve that?

Could you please try to update again and then send problem reports using menu Help->Report a problem and post here numbers of reports?

Thanks. Will be fixed within next 24 hours, this is a problem on server side.

In reality there are no updates available yet.

It happened that the automatic update notification on my localized version did not work.
In contrast to the older error (which said something about no internet connection), the last message of the automatic update routine assured me that there was no update, while there already was. I then went ahead and updated manually from the internet site.
