    Hi all,

I have a Bootcamp with Win 7 and I would like to use it with Parallels as well.

    1. Can I use it without problems?
    2. Does it import it to a folder or does it run it from the Bootcamp partition?
    3. Do the Parallels tools mess up with the Win 7 - when running Bootcamp?
    4. Is there problem running Bootcamp - then Parallels and back to Bootcamp?
    5. Does the info (downloads etc) stay in both Bootcamp and Parallels?

    Cheers...

All I can say is don't do it!!!!

I'm running on a Macbook Pro, late 2008/early 2009 2.53ghz, 4gb Ram, running Bootcamp with x64 Windows 7 Ultimate. Upgraded Parallels 4 to 5 this weekend and it really killed the performance of my Windows 7 installation in Bootcamp. Ended up reinstalling Windows 7 and just continue using Bootcamp.

The main performance issues are booting up/login time not to mention it seems to kill the "cool" windows logo boot splash and replaces it with the dull Vista one.
