Use Windows without self modification

Hello!
Is it possible to use windows without modification? Like this

1. Boot windows
2. Try some changes (maybe os)
3. quit (somehow)
4. Boot again: see without changes

Like a backup but a setting from the start that changes are not saved. One way would be to copy the complete windows.pvm every time from a backup file and boot the copied file but this is a bit stupid

Yes it is) You need to use Snapshot feature. Form the top Parallels Menu go to Virtual machine - make a Snapshot. In order to revert changes you just need to revert to the snapshot in Snapshot manager

 

That is a good feature. I love it! Like a time machine. Does it demand much disc space? It asked me to deactivate compression

 

it splits the disk into many parts. You may compress it manually tim eto time after deleting all snapshots if there is a need for compression
