    Hi,
I'm an engineering student and have installed Parallels trial version in order to run Windows-only CAD and programming software on my Mac. I would like to know if I can buy the student licence and use it to unlock my trial version, or if I have to buy the regular licence to unlock it. I'd rather unlock my current installation (instead of performing a new install) since I used my last Windows licence to perform the trial installation.
    Thank you very much,
    Rosalie

Hello Rosalie, You can get a copy of academic version of Parallels Desktop for Mac as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/113630 to activate you copy of Parallels Desktop for Mac and continue using the same Windows Virtual Machine.
