Use OS X as default gateway in Host-Only Network

    Is it possible to set OS X to be the default gateway to access the internet in a host only network? If so how can I find the IP address to use?

    A virtual machine can use three different networking modes to communicate with the world: Bridged, Shared and Host-Only.
