Congrats to the Parallels team for a great product. I've used it with MS Office to create a couple hundred page technical report with lots of graphics, etc. and it worked great. Four things I whould like to see fixed (added) in the next iteration are:
    1. When I put in my USB memory stick, Parallels doesn't recognize it as a USB2 and hence is really slow.
    2. CD Drive Control: When I'm in the parallels mode and go back to the OSX environment and put in a CD, it doesn't recognize it until I go close Parallels. It should recognize what environment it's in and turn over control of the CD drive to that environment.
    3. Recognize the graphics card so it's fully able to do 3D programs or games.
    4. Full Screen View: When I'm in the "full screen view" I would like a way to switch over to OSX and open programs from there without rotating screens around and getting out of the full screen view. If I could just hid the parallels environment from the full screen view, that would be OK.
    Great Product.

Can we get a reply from Parallels on these great questions?

    1) USB2 is now available in the latest PD for MAC 3094 beta.
    2) Simply right click the CD icon in the Parallels window (not in the guest OS) and select Disconnect and it will return cd drive control to OSX without having to shut down your guest OS.
    3) this is coming. However, due to the very nature of emulation, dont expect it to be as slick as it would be if you had the guest OS running natively.
    4) again.. in the latest beta version, you can use Coherence to do this.

Note: the features in the beta version are exactly what they say they are... BETA.... meaning they aint perfect yet.... if you dont feel comfortable installing beta software, then wait for the full release... you have been warned!

I'm new here. Recently purchased the '1-year-free-upgrade' Parallels recently. But I really need to have the USB2 feature as I'm getting very discouraged with the 'Wait 5-10 sec'. I have also downloaded VMWare's Beta software called Space for evaluation - it supports USB2 NOW. Just as a heads-up to Parallels, please get this USB feature in the upgrade ASAP. I'm counting on you guys. Keep up the good work; but there's still very much more to do - the critical features first.
