    Hiya,

Purchased and installed Parallels to use with Autocad and Microstation.. our drafty uses a Kensington Expert Mouse Pro trackball for multiple button usage.

When I installed the native window drivers for this, Parallels lost all mouse control and was only saved by reinstalling the tools again. The programable buttons still work as normal under in OS X but not carried into PD hence trying the native XP installer.

Just a follow up, the latest beta still has the same problem, all mouse control is lost after trying to install the kensington mouse control. Re-installing the tools saves it. Sadly still no joy tho :(

Since the Kensington seems to be a bust, is there any trackball that works in both OSX and parallels properly ! Desperately need help here.. alternatively a multi button mouse that works right !

Yup, the Microsoft trackball works like a charm.

FWIW, I have USB Overdrive installed in OS X, and my Kensington trackball works fine in Parallels with no additional mouse software.

I had the same problem with my Expert Mouse until the latest build. I tried USB Overdrive, but it conflicted with Kensington Mouseworks. After I uninstalled USB Overdrive, Mouseworks worked. I don't know whether it was because I disabled/enabled Mouseworks or because I changed the call out for the right button from "control-click" to "right-click."
