    Hi,

Had some success with running Nokia software update with Parallels over USB. This is the first time it has recognised my N95. Alas, there was no phone update available!! :/

Quick stupid question: How do I unmount the phone after use? I couldn't find the remove hardware icon anywhere on the toolbar. Is there another way?

    In coherence mode,
    1) click on the Windows blue toolbar to give Parallels the focus.
    2) In the Parallels Menu at the top of the screen, click Devices/USB/
    3) You should see a check mark next to your Nokia phone. Click to uncheck it.
    4) You should hear a beep or a chime indicating that the phone has been disconnected

Those instructions also work in Windowed mode, but in Windowed mode you also have the option of disconnecting the device by clicking the USB icon. (It is in the row of icons at the bottom right of the window.)

Also, when you shut down your XP machine, the device will be unmounted.

I should've mentioned I was in coherence mode - Good call!

    Worked a treat, many thanks.
