There are two workarounds for these, but can be anonying, like most other things: * Usb device may not always connect straight to the guest os from within parallels... Regardless of what you set in the VM settings under USB options. (eg, ask me what to do, connect to Guest OS), this doesn't not work. The Mac conects first. Even if theres a tick for the usb icon. Unplugging and reattaching usb device psychically does not work. Workaround: usb status icon has tick showing usb is capturd to vm when its not.. Remove the tick, then re-capture device again *. After inital install of a Windows 2003 server Guest OS, the Superdrive on the mac is not detected. Workaround: Reboot the Guest. or (possibly) re detection in device manager. Although DirectX has been in the experimental stage, I find its always good idea to run any 3d intensive game in Boot Camp, as the internal fan on th mac gos like crazy otherwise. I guss when DirectX is fuly finished in Parallels, we will have full screen, instead of just a window.. Glad to be new to the forums,
