Are USB enclosures supported in Parallels, or am I doing something wrong? When I connect it to my MBP, it gets recognized by OSX right away, but nothing happens in my VM. If I click on the devices menu (in parallels), the USB menu is always grayed out, even if the VM is not running. Since I've never connected a USB device before, I was wondering if this was normal behavior, or if I have to set something up to get it working.
Do you have USB setup for the VM? Shutdown the guest OS. Now edit the VM settings. Do you see "USB Controller" in the list of resources on the left? If not you need to click on the "Add" button and add the USB controller. Rick
