    Hi,

Parallels was working OK under leopard until I installed the OSX 10.5.1 update, then I tried to use Parallels and there is no USB connectivity, I only get a message that says:

'USB device you are trying to connect to the virtual machine is in use by another application. Close that application or unplug the device and plug it again. Then try to connect the device again'

I am running build 5162, so the latest of everything, I have tried plugging/unplugging - no change, also there are no other apps running on the Mac (iMac 24" 750gb) at the same time as I am trying to use Parallels.

This is the same for all USB connectivity, Parallels does not recognise USB any more.

Any help appreciated - how can I get Parallels to connect to USB on my mac again?

    Many Thanks

    Simon

    Hello,

please, try to set "connect to guest OS" in the USB Controller tab in the Configuartion Editor of your VM. Will it help?

    Best regards,
    Alicia.
