    It says

The USB device cannot be connected.
"There are no virtual USB host controller ports available in the virtual machine for " printer name" device to be connected.
I have 23 printers set up on my mac side (Mac OSX 10.6) I dont need but one printer on the PC (xp) virtual side.
How do I stop this process and only have one printer mapped to my virtual machine?

Open Configuration pane of Vm (virtual Machine menu > Configure) go to hardware > Print, disable "add all Mac printers".
in Hardware tab look down, find "+", "-" buttons under the list of hardware settings, and add USB controller.
Start VM, go to Devices menu, click on printer you want to connect to this VM, go to Parallels Desktop menu > Preferences > USB, ind your printer and choose 'Always connect to VM".
You are done on this stage :)
