I'm having some trouble getting a particular USB device (a SiLabs CP2102 USB to serial adapter) to work under a Windows XP SP3 guest. The device works fine on OS X and does appear in the Windows guest when I connect it from the device menu it. However, when Windows sees the device, it shows up with a VID of 0000 and a PID of 0000 instead of the correct values, so SiLabs' driver isn't detecting it and Windows calls it an "Unknown Device".

Any hints on whether there's something I can do to get the right VID and PID to be "passed through" from OS X to Windows or if this is perhaps a bug (known or otherwise) in Parallels that I should (or shouldn't) expect a fix for in the next update?

    Thanks.
