We are trying to use a Micronas UAC3556B USB sound chip-based device (URL below) with Windows under Parallels on Macs. This chip is used in a number of devices including Plantronics headsets. When sampling at 11025 Hz, the actual delivered sample rate on the Windows side is around 10500 Hz. Looking carefully at the audio samples in Audacity shows that samples are indeed being dropped. See the attachment. Top trace is the source audio, bottom two traces are the waveforms delivered to the Windows sound recorder app using the UAC3556B plugged into the Mac and made available as a Windows audio device via Parallels USB support.

We believe this is a bug in Parallels and we are hoping that it can be fixed.

    Any info will be appreciated.

    Bob

Hard to say anything without actually working with hardware
Please create ticket in support we can process problem to investigation stage.
But it is hard to say something without actually checking the device, please understand that it is not possible to check every device in market, so I am not sure how we can process this
