Guys, great work so far. i'd really like to see USB 2.0 HIGH/FULL speed support for the OSX version of PW. I do driver and device development and would love to chuck the work dell and use parallels and my awesome mbp full-time. thanks again for the great work. i look forward to purchasing the full version. jjh
What do I do to get my USB 2 device to function fully? I am looking for USB 2 full support in Parallels Workstation for the Mac. I just hooked up a new Plextor PX-760A 18x DVD+-R USB 2 burner, and my XP Pro VM cannot address it correctly with the plug-and-play USB Mass Storage device driver from Microsoft. Are there third-party drivers available online (Plexor does not have an XP device driver on their website)? I am not very skilled (YET) in running XP on an Intel iMac, but I am eager to learn. Any suggestions, anyone? Should I just take the burner back to the computer store if it is going to be a long time until USB 2 handshaking support is provided by the Parallels team? I am glad to say that I have already purchased the prerelease of Parallels, and am very impressed with its capabilities, compared with running Virtual PC on a PowerPC Mac. Apple is right to go with Intel processors.
