Upgrading via new purchase

    I currently have Parallels 9 installed, and want to purchase Parallels 12. As far as I am aware there is no upgrade option. If I buy Parallels 12 full price and install it, will Windows 7 (my current Parallels 9 OS) and all of my files still transfer correctly?

    Hello Kai, yes. You are correct! We recommend you to buy a full version of Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac and follow the steps mentioned below:
    * Quit Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac
    * Download and install Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac
    * Double click on .pvm file to open it up. (In this case, you do not need to reinstall Windows or create a new virtual Machine)
