I've been using Parallels 10 on my old Mac and bought a brand new MacBook Pro last night. Could I possibly be lucky enough to just download the Parallels 11 upgrade to my new Mac without having to transfer Parallels 10 first? If I must do the transfer, how is my simplest method of transferring Parallels?

I know I'm not the first to ask this question, but I didn't find an answer when I did a Forum post. Thank you.

Hi, you can just install the Parallels Desktop 11 on your new Mac and the one thing which you need from Parallels Desktop 10 - is the license key.
So you need just 10 version key for Parallels Desktop 11 activation.
Also if you would like to transfer your VM from the old to new Mac you need to copy the .pvm file to external drive and then paste it on your new Mac.

Please let us know if you need more help.
