Upgrading PHP To 5.2.x From 5.1.6 For sqlite.so

Hello

I am trying to use remi to upgrade my PHP as my current version does not come with sqlite.so at all. Read this thread also http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=86086

Here is my dilema after executing

yum --enablerepo=remi update php

Can anyone advise how to overwrite these conflicts from yum, and is it safe to do so ?

Also will this installation gives me access to the sqlite.so under /php/lib/modules, so that I can run php files that requires it.
