Upgraded to 13 Killed Office, Won't load .exe

I update to 13 opened Excel which crashed, then office 2016 completely vanished.

I've downloaded the install .exe from Microsoft live however the .exe will not load.

This is incredibly tedious.

Is there a solution?

 

Actually I am having problems with Office as well, but slightly different. The performance of Office Apps, Word, Outlook in particular, is now incredibly slow. The keyboard lags significantly, and normal operations are noticeably slower. I've restarted them, restarted the virtual machine, etc., and it's the same.
