    Hi there,

I just upgraded the RAM on my iMac Intel Duo computer from 1 GB to 2 GB. What do I need to do to ensure the Parallels recognises this increase in RAM? How do I configure Parallels to ensure best results (preferably in Coherence mode). Details much appreciated. Using Build 4560 for Parallels for Mac.

    Thanks so much!

    Lynn

    hi,
run Parallels Desktop and go to "Parallels Desktop->Preferences" mennu item. Select "Memory" tab and increase there memory limit that can be usage for virtual machines. After that you can increase memory limit for your concrete virtual machine. To do this: stop VM, select "Edit->Virtual Machine..." menu item and there go to the Memory list item.

Between 512 MB and 768 MB allocated to the XP VM is best.
