After upgrading to RC1 of PW my previously working Ubuntu 5.10 Linux VM has lost its networking capability. Nothing I do can get this networking back. Not sure if anyone else has seen this or what would cause this but its for real. The same VM image runs perfectly on my other MBP with beta 6 of PW running. Anyone else seen anything like this? Any ideas as to how I might go about fixing this? TIA, Peter
Well well well... Seems as though going back into Ubuntu and through the Admin->Network dialog I reconfigured my network to have a static Ip and I'm back in business. I set up my IP, SubNet and gateway adresses and I'm good to go. Not sure why DHCP over wireless would break after upgrading to RC1 but if you have the same problem go make your IP static and I'll bet you get your networking back. HTH, peter
