Updating and Saved Snapshots

If I update from one version of Parallels to the next, do I lose a saved snapshot since it was created in a prior version? Specifically, I've managed to get the Citrix Plugin to work and I have been using it by accessing the functioning Vista image just prior to successful connection. Im afraid I will be back to start if I update and have to recreate my settings. Is there any specific reason I should update and go to the latest build, I believe 84 of Parallels? Im using Leopard 10.5.1 on a 24" iMac with 2 gig memory.

your snapshots are kept in the .hdd file which is not affected while updating PD so go ahead
