running OS X 10.9 Mavericks with Parallels 9 and Windows 8. Hi, I'm just setting up my iMac and still in a sharp learning curve. I'm having difficulty with an update jamb. Each time I open Parallels, Windows 8 starts and immediately takes me to a screen stating "Keep your PC on until this is done - installing update 1 of 1". The above seems quite normal but the update has obviously jambed as its been there installing for a couple of hours. I think it is a MS Silverlight update. I have autoupdates turned on and can't turn them off until I get past this update screen. Is there a key to bypass this? Any suggestions?
