Primarily for the novelty of it, I'm attempting to set up a stable, functioning VM of Windows 98.
So far I've been able to set up video and networking, and now all I really need is folder sharing and working sound. If anyone could help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated.
(I realize certain features might not currently be available for older OS's and can mostly understand the neglect, but it really makes no sense that such an obviously expected function like sound was left out!)
Also, the first thing I get when I start up my VM, after the Windows boot screen, is the image shown below, and occasionally I'll loose control of the curser (it just stops responding) and I have to manually "shut down" the virtual machine and restart it. I've used several different WIN98 disks, CD's, and downloaded ISO's, and I always get the same results.
