I have done everything suggested and still no results. I am so p..... off because I actually PAID a technician to install Parallels & XP (whilst I migrated all the Mac data which was flawless) I specifically did this to AVOID any problems I may encounter with Parallels & Windows . I specifically asked him to ensure a thumb drive and the printer would work on both platforms , for multiple users and what do I get ? Nothing but problems and HOURS of my time wasted ( and yours trying to help me) . It has even been a challenge just working out how to get around in here AND how to get a url etc . The upside is I have learnt a lot and I will be back to read your posts . However, it was all supposed to not happen so I could get into the business aspect of my work on the computer . It is such a busy time being the end of financial year and I am totally over it and don't bother sending me a "WHO CARES " image Ozy dkb i have finally worked out what on earth the url question was about & copied a link someone else had on here to find out what you do. I have now managed to upload some screen shots of my printer error msg & also your pathway to Preferences in Parallels to check the FTP settings ( which I have still not found) http://www.flickr.com/photos/httpwwwflickrcomphotoswattos/ Thanks to all who tried to help but I still haven't been able to resolve my two main issues (not to mention two other application issues that are looming) I am very upset and cranky about the whole deal. I understand we all have various problems but I PAID someone with presumed technical skills to prevent mine and it did not happen. So what else is new i guess.....
