We used Parallels Go to Mac to move Windows 7 to our Mac. This was from a HP Laptop that had a OEM copy of Windows 7 on it. Everything was working fine then approx. 3 months into the installation we started getting an error message saying that our "Windows is not Genuine". After searching the internet I found out that OEM licenses can not be transferred to another computer. Therefore, we have decided to uninstall Windows 7 (OEM License) & re-install Windows 7 using a purchased copy rather than the transferred copy. I have a couple of questions.

    1. Does Uninstalling Windows 7 from Parallels remove the Parallels software?
    2. We have Microsoft Office 2013 installed. If I uninstall Windows 7 does this delete Microsoft Office?
    3. If I select "keep files" on the remove menu will this keep the Microsoft Office Software or just files like PST and Templates etc.? We have all our files backed up so that we could re-install these files.
    4. Any windows programs that we have installed on will they be deleted when we uninstall the Windows operating system?
    5. If I uninstall Parallels to start over with a clean slate can I just install Parallels Software from "Parallels Go to Mac" since I won't be transferring any files?

If anyone has any other suggestions or comments please jump right in.

Just use the new license code on the win7 installation, go thru the genuine process and input the new key, I believe.

As a precautionary measure always backup the vm, by copying the .pvm to a safe location if it's not bootcamp based.
