My Windows XP VM has Parallels Tools Center version 3.0.5638 in addition to the normal Parallels Tools for my current Parallels Desktop 8.0.18619. This appears still to be in use as it is showing as Last Used today. I have tried removing this with Add or Remove Programs in XP but Parallels Tools Setup fails with an error message "Parallels Tools require that your Windows is running under Virtual Machine. The Installation will be stopped.". Can anyone help me with instruction on how to remove this unwanted program?
