running on 3188, everything was fine. Suspended the vm Friday. This morning, turned it on, it blue screens with a halt error more or less right away when Vista boots up. I tried resetting a few times, but it keeps doing it. This has never happened before, and safe mode does the same thing. anyone have any ideas or tips how to get this OS back up and running, or is this a re-install waiting to happen? D
@darreln I wouldn't necessarily call this a Parallels problem. Vista seems to have a knack for crashing. I've been working exclusively with Windows (NT lineage) since it first shipped in '93 and I consider Vista to be the most unstable release to date - even moreso than NT 4.0. I view the current release as a late beta. As a .Net developer I'm not nearly ready to run Vista. I'll need to evaluate a sp1 first. If at all possible, I'd advise you to drop back to XP for now.
